What is PAT testing?

PAT testing is the inspection and testing of electrical appliances to confirm they are safe to use. It is a key part of workplace electrical safety and of complying with UK regulations. Regular testing identifies faulty equipment before it becomes a risk to staff, tenants or the public.

What we test

Office equipment — computers, printers, monitors
Portable appliances — kettles, microwaves, heaters
Construction site equipment and 110V tooling
Fixed electrical appliances where applicable
Extension leads and distribution units

A full asset register Every item, its location, its result and its next due date. The document an inspector actually asks for.
Failures labelled and logged Anything that fails is tagged on site and listed separately, so remedial work can be prioritised rather than hunted for.
A reminder before you lapse Automated notice ahead of each retest date. Compliance stops depending on somebody remembering.
